Birleşik İlaç San. ve Tic. A.Ş. has been founding since in 1974.

First, Dr.Şahap ABIR and his five partner have bought Bozok Laboratory in İstanbul and they have established theirself in business. They, that Bozok's has been production before, were keep on. They were produced Astmadol Syrup, Neo Astmadol Tablet, Sedonal Tablet, Sedonal Ampule, Sedonal Fort Ampule, Kortifen Pomade. After that, when they became a partner, with Manne Powders LTD, they were going in Cosmetics business. Even thought they had to stopped their agreement with Manne Powder and they have been starting the production of new baby powder, name is BEBETEN. In the beginning of 1980 they have been producing BEBETEN Baby Shampoo and they were went on BEBETEN Baby Soap, Bath Foam, Baby Nappy Cream and like this. In 1983 they were stopped to medicine production and they were given their weight baby cosmetics production completely.

Beside of they have get some permissions for the ABIR brand name. In 1990 they produced ABIR Anti-Dandruff Shampoo, in 2000 they started the production ABIR Foot Powder.
